Mid-Senior Software Developer

Salary: $92,090 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• We require an Interim Secret Clearance; selected candidates will undergo a security review and must be eligible for access to classified information.
• We require U.S. citizenship to obtain the necessary clearance.
• We are looking for experience managing project workflows and coordinating team efforts with VS Code, JetBrains IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab.
• We require hands-on experience with Java and Rust.
• We require experience with C++ and Python.
• We need knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipeline development.
• We require experience working in Linux environments, including Ubuntu and RedHat.
• We require familiarity with agile software development practices.
• We prefer at least 8 years of software development experience.
• We prefer experience in networking and protobuf.
• We prefer experience leading, mentoring, and managing high-performing software development teams.
• We value a motivated self-starter who learns quickly and expands knowledge areas readily.
• We require a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.

• We develop secure, scalable software architectures for integration with government-owned and contractor-developed software aboard unmanned surface vessels.
• We master vendor platforms, payloads, and sensors to support successful hardware integration.
• We work closely with the H62 Mission Autonomy Lead to manage agile development cycles.
• We translate complex operational needs into clear technical specifications.
• We establish technical baselines and prioritize the highest-impact development work.
