McCoy Construction & Forestry in Evansville, IN is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel within a designated service area, providing expert repair and maintenance for heavy duty construction and forestry equipment to our valued customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority): Travel on location to examine machines to diagnose and repair a multitude of mechanical and system issues. Fabricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints or schematic drawings. Maintains a clean work area, shop tools, truck, and equipment. Ensures work is performed safely and safe work procedures are followed throughout the department. Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred: Minimum of 3 years heavy equipment -customer facing experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, of heavy-duty diesel equipment Must possess a valid driver’s license and Forklift Certification Ability to build relationships with customers while providing high-quality customer service. Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills. Problem-solving aptitude Paid Time Off—-80 Hours in the first year!
