This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive.Apply today at threebirdsonemission.com/careers!About the RoleAs a Child Development Behavior Specialist at Blue Bird Day, you will provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth through:Providing individualized therapyCollecting data on programmingImplementing evidence-based intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBAImplementing developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans in our classroomsCollaborating daily with physical and speech therapists, and social workersDocumenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of careChild Development Behavior Specialist Job Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Child Development or Early Education requiredMastors Degree in Child Development or Early Education preferredExperience working with neurodivergent children preferredRegistered Behavior Technician Certification preferred or willing to obtainCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive Salary: $50,000 - $52,000Comprehensive Health Coverage (Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance) + Life and Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Competitive Paid Time Off and holiday allowancesGenerous 401k Retirement Plan with employer contributionsSchedule & LocationSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30-5pmLocation: 140 E.
