Field Service Engineer 2 - San Francisco MRI/CT

MRI/CT Field Engineer – San Francisco, CA (2nd Shift, Noon – 9 PM) Responsibilities Perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance of medical equipment with hospitals or healthcare systems to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients. Perform troubleshooting, service repairs, and installations of moderate complexity. Lead communications with customers and serve as escalation point for customer‑related concerns, including installations. Own customer issues from dispatch or identification of issue to resolution. Proactively engage with other team members to ensure an appropriate solution for the customer. Lead equipment installations and validations in one or more modalities. Assist customers and service sales with contract and on‑demand revenue growth through leveraging customer knowledge and relationships. Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely communication, resolution, and proper follow‑up to drive customer satisfaction. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met; document all work performed daily, including metrics and ordering parts. Recommend value‑added services that help customers run their business more efficiently. Utilize the GEHC escalation process and work closely with regional and national support to define and implement corrective action plans. Work independently to troubleshoot and perform moderately complex repairs on assigned equipment. Perform on‑time, accurate preventative maintenance in one or more modalities of equipment. Follow all field modification instructions and instrument service information bulletins. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; or equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment; or high school diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment. Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution‑based service process. Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment. Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns. Experience with web applications and Microsoft Office suite. Compliance with GEHC background checks, post‑offer drug test, customer access policies, and required immunizations. Special Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35lbs. unassisted and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel, and crawl. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $96,400 – $144,600 per year (U.S. based positions). Eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation (cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives).
