• Shift: 24-Hour Beeper Call (6 am – 6 am)
• Hours/Week: Variable based on shifts
• Employment Type: Contract (Locum Tenens)
• Licenses/Certs: Active CA license, DEA, NRP
• Experience: Board Certified or Eligible within 3-5 years of residency

Pay & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $1.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide inpatient pediatric care on a 24-hour beeper call basis
• Manage neonatal airway emergencies, including intubation and respiratory management
• Conduct urgent procedures such as UVC/UAC placement, lumbar punctures, and chest tube insertions (neonates)
• Interpret EKGs and assist with neonatal air leak management
• Collaborate with ED and anesthesia teams as needed
• Ensure quality care and timely interventions for pediatric patients

What You Need:
Required:

• Active California medical license
• DEA license
• Recent Board Certification or Board Eligibility (within 3-5 years of residency)
• Current CV with all hospital affiliations
• NRP certification
• Experience with neonatal airway management, UVC/UAC placement, and emergency procedures

Preferred:

• Ventilator management
• Chest tube insertion in neonates
