Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Drafter III to support engineering design, plant retrofit, and modification projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD , engineering drawings, field walkdowns, and plant design environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise 2D drawings and 3D CAD models based on engineering and design input.
- Update existing drawings for plant retrofit and modification projects.
- Support plant-site walkdowns to collect field measurements and dimensional information.
- Incorporate engineering comments, redlines, and field data into drawings.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, plant personnel, and vendors.
- Support or lead small drafting/design assignments.
- Ensure drawings meet applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.
- 7-10 years of drafting experience .
- Associate's degree in Drafting, Design, or related field preferred.
- Strong experience with CAD software and design tools .
- Experience with both 2D and 3D drafting/modeling .
- Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform field walkdowns and work in plant environments.
- Experience in power generation, utilities, industrial facilities, or plant retrofit projects preferred.
