Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients from pediatric to geriatric populations.
  
  
• 
  Develop and update personalized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and staff on nutrition support, dietary modifications, and wellness strategies.
  
  
• 
  Review patient assessment requests, recommend appropriate interventions, and document findings in electronic medical records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during rounds and meetings to optimize patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Provide nutrition services across multiple hospital units, including ICU, long-term care, pediatric, and surgical units.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least one year of clinical nutrition experience in acute, long-term, or critical care settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to perform medical nutrition therapy and nutrition assessments effectively.
  
  
• 
  Have experience with food service management and electronic medical record charting.
  
  
• 
  Be licensed to practice as a Dietitian in Hawaii prior to starting the assignment.
