Travel Sonographer

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday

Job Description

The Travel Sonographer will be responsible for performing sonographic examinations in a healthcare facility. This role includes working with patients to obtain necessary diagnostic images and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performing ultrasound examinations as per protocols.
• Documenting patient history and conducting assessments.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy of sonographic images.
• Collaborating with radiologists and other physicians to provide effective patient care.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring a sterile environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification required.
• Current state licensure as a sonographer, if applicable.
• Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
