Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler Job Description

The Wire Harness Assembler builds and assembles electrical wire harnesses using soldering, crimping, and mechanical assembly techniques. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints, perform precise electrical wiring and routing, and use a variety of hand tools to produce high-quality electronic and electrical assemblies.

• Assemble electrical and electronic wire harnesses according to schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform soldering operations on wires, terminals, and components to ensure secure and reliable electrical connections.
• Crimp pins, terminals, and connectors using appropriate tools and methods to meet assembly specifications.
• Install and secure wire lugs, solder sleeves, and other harness components as required by the design.
• Route, bundle, and organize wiring within harnesses to meet layout, safety, and performance requirements.
• Use hand tools and basic mechanical techniques to complete electrical assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect completed harnesses for quality, accuracy, and compliance with assembly standards and documentation.
• Work independently at an assigned bench, following work instructions and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in a climate-controlled environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines related to electrical assembly and tool usage.

• Minimum of 2+ years of wire harness assembler experience.
• Proficiency in soldering for electrical and electronic assemblies.
• Strong ability to crimp pins, terminals, and connectors accurately.
• Experience using wire lugs, solder sleeves, and related harness components.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly and electrical wiring.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools for assembly work.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform precise, high-quality workmanship.
• Capability to work independently at a bench while following written instructions.

• Experience with electronic assembly in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with wire routing practices and harness layout standards.
• Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with defined quality standards.
• Ability to maintain consistent productivity while meeting quality and safety requirements.

The role is based in a climate-controlled, clean facility designed for precision electrical and electronic assembly work. You will work independently at your own bench, using hand tools and standard assembly equipment to build wire harnesses. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Benbrook, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Benbrook,TX.
