Job Title: Refrigeration Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Maintain and repair refrigeration, HVAC, boiler, and ammonia systems to keep plant operations running safely and efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support facility maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and boiler systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on compressors, valves, pumps, and related equipment
• Support ammonia system maintenance and repairs
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow OSHA standards
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant projects

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial refrigeration or maintenance experience
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, and boiler systems
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Willingness to obtain boiler, forklift, and HAZMAT certifications
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in industrial environments

Work Environment Industrial plant setting with exposure to refrigeration, HVAC, ammonia, and boiler systems. Requires PPE, physical activity, and occasional lifting up to 150 lbs with assistance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
