Work Shift 2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM (overtime and weekend work as required)Job DutiesSets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of machine toolsRead blueprints and perform shop mathematics associated with machining operationsPerform inspection procedures to verify workOperate Mori Seiki and DMU CNC milling machines producing precision componentsRun multiple CNC machines simultaneously while maintaining production efficiency and quality standardsPerform machine setups, tool changes, work offsets, and minor CNC program editsRead and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specificationsInspect finished parts using precision measuring equipmentMonitor tooling condition and make adjustments as needed to maintain part qualityTroubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues with minimal supervisionMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety, quality, and production proceduresWork closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve machining performance and outputQualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience operating Mori Seiki and/or DMU milling machines preferredStrong knowledge of FANUC and Heidenhain controls requiredAbility to operate multiple machines while maintaining high quality standardsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a machining environmentExperience with machine setup, tooling, offsets, and minor program adjustmentsAbility to read and interpret complex prints and GD&T requirementsProficient with precision measuring instruments including: Micrometers, Calipers, Bore gauges, Dial indicatorsHigh school diploma or GED requiredTechnical machining training preferredDemonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and productivityExperience working in a fast-paced production machining environment preferred Halliburton
