Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of an assigned nursing unit

• Supervise, coach, and support licensed nurses and nursing assistants

• Coordinate resident care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

• Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions

• Conduct staff education and performance evaluations

• Investigate and resolve resident, family, and staff concerns promptly

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting

• Promote a positive, resident-centered care environment

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and survey process

• Excellent communication and team-building abilities

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment

• CPR certification required
