Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience independently handling and resolving first-party property claims or liability claims Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills The highest standards of integrity and ethics Insurance designations such as Associate in Claims (AIC), Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA), or Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) Associate’s or bachelor’s degree Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary with an annual profit‑sharing bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance Pension and 401(k) plans Paid time off, company‑paid holidays, and flexible schedule options Company‑paid life insurance and long‑term disability insurance On‑site fitness center, wellness incentives, and employee assistance program Matching program for charitable donations 37.5 hour work week Hybrid work schedule: Employees within 50 miles of Cobleskill, NY work in the office three days each week; Employees more than 50 miles from Cobleskill, NY work in the office one day each week Compensation Range The starting base salary range for these positions is $65,000 to $90,000+, with final compensation determined by relevant experience, expertise, qualifications, and education.
