Manufacturing Materials Handler (2nd Shift)

Job TitleIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.Rigging and lifting parts for reception/material handling.Material handling using different types of PIV's.Reception of goods into system, matching documentation with correct product.Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.Align with all safety and work instructions.Maintain clear communication within department.Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle to conform to "make-to-order".Maintain competitive cost associated assembly including labor, material, tooling, inventory, etc.For This Role, You Will Need:High School diploma or GED required.Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.Ability to lift up to 40lbs.Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:Associates degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.2 – 3 years proven experience working with Receiving and Rigging/Lifting.Skilled PIV operator.Previous Oracle experience.Our Culture & Commitment to You:At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
