Family and Children's Association (FCA) is excited to announce a high-impact leadership opportunity for an ambitious Mental Health Program Coordinator within our Community Mental Health & Wellness Division. This position requires a master's degree and professional NYS Licensure in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Creative Arts Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Operational Governance: Oversee the daily operations of the CFTSS Program to ensure clinical excellence and elevate evidence-based service delivery metrics.
• Talent Magnifying & Recruitment: Lead the strategic hiring process by screening, behavior-based interviewing, and onboarding a passionate team of mental health professionals.
• Continuum of Care Optimization: Strategically manage clinical assignments, caseload distributions, and service capacity to streamline regional access to care for children and families.
• Workforce Mentorship: Provide ongoing competency-based training, clinical mentorship, and professional development frameworks to cultivate high staff morale and reduce burnout.
• Data Governance & Integrity: Methodically track, monitor, and audit all quantitative and qualitative clinical data required under state behavioral health frameworks.
• Regulatory Sovereignty: Direct the preparation of comprehensive state reports and spearhead external quality assurance audits to ensure absolute compliance.
• Systems Compliance: Monitor Medicaid managed care data metrics, ensure strict alignment with state regulations, and collaborate closely with external healthcare entities.
• Macro-Level Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the agency at high-level state meetings, collaborating with internal and external partners to influence system-wide care coordination and improve access to care.

Qualifications

• Mission-Driven Alignment: Deep personal passion for driving positive clinical outcomes for children, adolescents, and families.
• Intellectual Credentialing: Master's Degree and active NYS Licensure required (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT) to provide elite clinical oversight and industry credibility.
• Subject Matter Expertise: At least 2 years of progressive, post-licensure clinical experience serving vulnerable populations within the Human Services or behavioral health system.
• Leadership Acumen: Strong organizational skills and proven leadership capabilities; prior supervisory or clinical team management experience is highly preferred.
• Technical Literacy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suites and advanced technical fluency navigating complex Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
• Operational Mobility: A valid New York State driver's license with a clean, responsible driving record required for cross-site leadership.

Compensation Information

• Salary: $66,300 - $66,500
• Location: Garden City, NY
• Schedule: Full Time, 35 hours per week
• Status: Exempt
