Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of inpatient Operating Room experience, level 1 trauma preferred. License: Current RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Scrub experience required. - Competency in at least 5 of the surgical services listed. - Excellent communication skills. - Positive attitude and flexibility. Description: This position involves 12-hour shifts with a rotation of day and night. Shifts start at 7 AM and 7 PM. Three 12-hour shifts are required each week with every third weekend expected as needed. Holidays are rotated, with one call duty assigned per scheduling period. The surgical services covered include general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatric, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine procedures. The surgical area has 17 operating rooms and is staffed 24/7. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
