MRI Technologist
The MRI Technologist performs technical procedures, applying magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to produce the magnetic image and expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS.
Education Requirements
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts to include head, neck, body, MSK, spine and MRI imaging
Experience Requirements
1yr min MRI exp required; 3 yrs MRI exp preferred
Certification/Licensure Requirements
FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License
ARRT (MR) Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS
