Medical Technologist PositionMLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our client's dynamic team. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the healthcare facility by performing various laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to accurate and timely patient care.Responsibilities:Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and blood bankCollect and analyze samples, interpret results, and report findings to healthcare professionalsEnsure adherence to quality control and quality assurance protocolsOperate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate test results and provide input on patient treatment plansStay updated on advancements in medical technology and laboratory techniquesMaintain accurate and thorough documentation of all test results and proceduresAdhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environmentTrain and mentor junior staff members, as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or a related fieldCertification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT)Experience working as a Medical Technologist preferred, but new graduates with relevant clinical internship experience are welcome to applyStrong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and quality control measuresProficient in performing various laboratory tests and proceduresExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsCommitment to patient care, accuracy, and professionalismFlexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, if necessaryOur client will offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
