About the Role:

Argan Home Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing home health team in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port, and Englewood FL. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for home health patients

Administer medications, wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing treatments in the home setting

Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed in coordination with the physician

Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and home safety

Accurately document patient care, clinical notes, and visit records in compliance with agency and regulatory standards

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including therapists, social workers, and physicians

Respond to patient needs and changes in condition, escalating care when appropriate

Requirements:

Active Florida RN license in good standing

Previous home health, med-surg, or community nursing experience preferred

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Familiarity with OASIS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid home health guidelines a plus

Valid Florida driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation

Excellent communication and patient education skills

Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload with minimal supervision

CPR/BLS certification required
