Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Perform mobile ultrasound examinations in various healthcare facilities, including nursing homes, home care sites, and clinics. Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining professionalism and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate portable sonographic equipment to capture clinically diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and confirm physician orders prior to procedures.
• Arrive at assigned facilities punctually, unload and set up equipment, and perform ultrasound exams as ordered.
• Digitally transmit images to radiologists for interpretation, ensuring image quality and documentation accuracy.
• Maintain and troubleshoot sonographic equipment and company vehicle, complying with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with facility staff, dispatch, and team members, providing timely updates and urgent alerts.

Qualifications:

• Hold current certification and registration through ARDMS or CCI in vascular ultrasound.
• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record; provide copies upon request.
• Be vaccinated against COVID-19 or eligible for exemption with proper documentation.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to work independently.
• Maintain physical ability to lift equipment weighing up to 20 pounds and perform necessary mobility tasks.
