C. Harper Kia in Belle Vernon is looking for an experienced Kia Certified Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our growing service team.

If you have current Kia certifications, strong diagnostic abilities and experience handling advanced mechanical and electrical repairs, we want to talk with you.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive pay based on experience and Kia certification level

• Up to $7,000 sign-on bonus

• $2,500 sign-on bonus payment after 90 days

• Remaining $4,500 after six months of employment

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose, maintain and repair Kia vehicles

• Perform advanced Kia mechanical and electrical diagnostics

• Diagnose engine and drivability concerns

• Diagnose and repair transmission concerns

• Service steering and suspension systems

• Diagnose and repair braking systems

• Perform electrical and electronic system diagnostics

• Work with Kia diagnostic software and specialized equipment

• Perform Kia warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards

• Complete routine maintenance and scheduled services

• Perform wheel balancing and alignment when required

• Test-drive vehicles to verify customer concerns and completed repairs

• Develop repair plans based on diagnostic findings

• Accurately document completed repairs

• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repair needs

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

• Continue Kia factory training and certification development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Kia certifications required

• Previous Kia dealership technician experience strongly preferred

• Advanced knowledge of Kia vehicle systems

• Strong electrical diagnostic abilities

• Strong engine and drivability diagnostic skills

• Experience with Kia diagnostic software and equipment

• Hybrid and electric vehicle experience is a major plus

• Ability to perform complex mechanical repairs

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to quality workmanship

• Professional and dependable attitude

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
