OVERALL SUMMARY OF POSITION

Simons Bitzer & Associates is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Client Services Associate to join our administrative team. This position plays an important role in supporting our accounting and tax professionals while helping ensure our clients receive accurate, timely, and professional service.

 

As a Client Services Associate, your ability to effectively work in our fast-paced environment is essential. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects, prioritizing daily assignments, and providing support to our technical team. Your ability to build positive relationships with both clients and team members will contribute to your success at our firm.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Provide support to our Accounting and Tax Departments, including processing, proofreading, and assembling accounting reports and tax returns.
• Coordinate client information, communicate with clients regarding missing or required information, and ensure information is properly documented and communicated to the appropriate team members.
• Process tax return information, assist with extensions and e-filing, and help ensure completed returns are accurate and properly transmitted.
• Monitor client projects and work closely with managers and the technical team to help keep work moving and deadlines on track, particularly during busy season.
• Maintain databases, filing systems, client information, and other records while supporting engagement letters and client proposals.
• Provide professional client service through communications, scheduling, surveys, and delivery of completed work.
• Be a key member of our administrative team by providing backup for telephone coverage, daily statistics, coordinating meals, and other day-to-day firm needs.

 

And so, what does it take to be part of our team? The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, with public accounting experience a strong plus. Strong client service and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent proofreading and organizational abilities are essential. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing client and technical team needs. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking team player who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required, along with the ability to learn and adapt to other software and systems.

COMPENSATION: $50,000 +

Bonus Eligibility : Performance-based bonuses.
