Medical Lab Scientist - Night Shift

Location: Syracuse, UT

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Weekends (Saturday/Sunday) - 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) for the Emergency Room Lab at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for Point of Care Testing and may also perform clerical duties as assigned by Nursing and the Lab Director to support FSED operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Point of Care Testing in the Emergency Room Lab.
• Assist in clerical tasks to support lab operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ASCP certification as a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of Point of Care Testing procedures preferred.
