Role Description This full‑time, on‑site Physical Therapist / Physical Therapist Assistant role is based in Milpitas, CA. The clinician will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and sports‑related conditions using evidence‑based interventions, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy and traditional osteopathic techniques. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing and progressing individualized treatment plans, and providing hands‑on care to support mobility, strength, and functional outcomes. The role involves educating patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and long‑term wellness strategies. The clinician will document treatment sessions in a timely and accurate manner, collaborate with referring providers and team members, and contribute to a supportive, patient‑focused clinic culture. Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of California, or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start date. Clinical skills in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training. Ability to perform thorough patient evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and adjust treatment based on patient progress and clinical findings. Strong patient communication and education skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and home programs in clear, accessible language. Accurate and timely clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Commitment to evidence‑based practice, ongoing learning, and professional development in manual therapy and orthopedic care. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing a productive caseload in an outpatient setting. CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) and adherence to all applicable safety and infection control standards.
