SHIFT LEAD

(Deli & Front Counter) $18-$22/hr | Age 21+ | Full-Time or Part-Time, Year-Round Help run the shop. We're looking for someone reliable, level-headed, and ready to take ownership of a shift. This is a working leadership role -you'll be on the floor, not in an office. What you'll be responsible for: Leading the team during busy service Keeping things moving quickly and accurately Running deli equipment (including slicer) Jumping in wherever needed (register, line, prep, bakery) Opening or closing the shop Troubleshooting issues as they come up What we're looking for: Strong work ethic and reliability Comfortable leading peers Calm under pressure Able to make decisions without being told what to do Flexible scheduling across morning, mid-day, evening Requirements: Age 21+ Prior food service or retail experience preferred Weekend availability Scheduling: Typical shifts: 8 hours, 3-5 days per week (depending on part/full-time) Typical shift timing: 6am-2pm (opening), 10:30am-6:30pm (closing) This role is a good fit if you: Take initiative naturally Like being responsible for outcomes Can stay organized in a fast-paced environment Not a good fit if you: Avoid responsibility Need constant supervision Struggle under pressure Growth path: This role can lead directly to a Front End Manager position. #J-18808-Ljbffr HERO
