Job OpportunityShift DetailsSchedule: Friday to Sunday, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 07:00 PM)Job DescriptionThis position requires a dedicated and skilled individual to provide high-quality patient care in a challenging environment. The successful candidate will work within the healthcare team to deliver a range of CT imaging services to patients of various age groups, including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of CT exams, both with and without contrast, including but not limited to abdomen, pelvis, head, and vascular imaging.Administer contrast media as required and ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including Radiology, Lift Teams, and Rapid Response Teams.Provide care in specialized units such as the Emergency Department, ICU, and Trauma Units.Participate in patient education and support their healthcare journey.QualificationsCertificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT and Radiography.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Preferred experience in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) settings.Preferred proficiency in charting systems, specifically Community Hospital systems.Minimum of two years of charge experience and relevant clinical skills are preferred.Must possess a valid state license; compact license required at submission.Additional SkillsExpertise in CT arthrography and myelography.Experience with various imaging techniques including multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and trauma imaging.Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture.Familiarity with PACS and various imaging software or systems.Unit InformationPatient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.Daily caseload involves approximately 20 patients.Unit equipped with 3 imaging rooms to cater to diverse patient needs.Work EnvironmentThe role requires flexibility, as travelers may need to float to sister facilities as needed. Candidates can expect a supportive work environment with access to essential resources to deliver high-quality patient care.CommitmentThe selected candidate must be willing to commit to working three of the following five holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
