ROLE OVERVIEW We’re looking for a sharp, AI-native Analyst to work directly alongside the CEO and senior management team. A role that will be multi‑faced: right hand, marketing coordinator, research analyst, and AI operator. You won’t just manage tasks. You’ll use AI daily to absorb the volume of research, synthesis, first drafts, coordination, and follow‑through so that judgement, taste, and decisions get the time they deserve. You are the leverage that lets leadership think bigger and move faster. WHAT YOU’LL OWN Extend the Leadership team Manage the flow of information, prep, and follow‑through so nothing slips. Turn loose direction into structured outputs — agendas, briefs, decks, trackers, clear next steps. Anticipate what’s needed before it’s asked, and close the loop without being chased. Coordinate the Work Support experiential, creator, and cultural programs across timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Build and maintain trackers, status reports, and recap decks that clients and teams actually use. Keep internal teams, clients, and vendors aligned — clear communication is the whole job. Find the Signal Research cultural, competitive, and industry trends across drinks, beauty, sports, music, and lifestyle. Synthesize noise into a clear point of view — what’s happening, why it matters, and what Cogent should do about it. Lead with the data or credibility anchor, then the insight; separate real signal from trend‑chasing. Operate AI as a Partner Use AI every day to explore ideas fast, pressure‑test thinking, and raise the speed and quality of output. Build prompts, workflows, and lightweight agents that make the whole team faster. Know the difference between “AI helped” and “AI made it worse” — taste is the final filter. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 1–3 years in marketing, agency, events, research, or a related field Genuinely AI‑native: you already use AI daily and are hungry to push it further. Exceptionally organized, able to track and prioritize many moving pieces without dropping any. Strong written and verbal communication, with real attention to detail. Curiosity about consumer culture — the brands, artists, and moments across drinks, beauty, sports, music, and lifestyle. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable building presentations, plans, and recaps. A self‑starter who moves work forward without waiting to be told Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
