Technical Service Lead

Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience using power tools, including a table saw, miter saw, drill press, and cutting wheels.
• We require 3+ years of experience with basic electronics, such as wiring, crimping, and soldering.
• We are seeking 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or diagnostics.
• You should be proficient with technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Asana, and familiar with warehouse management software.
• You need to be comfortable using service tracking systems, software platforms, and documentation tools.
• Strong communication skills are essential, both in technical discussions and in customer interactions.
• You must be able to manage multiple priorities while keeping processes organized.
• We value a proven ability to produce complex products to exacting standards while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills are required, especially in real-time or high-pressure situations.
• You should be able to self-manage and anticipate mission requirements without direct supervision.

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of our rental fleet.
• Carry out and track regular as well as seasonal upgrades.
• Inspect incoming Bots to ensure they return from the field in excellent condition.
• Monitor fleet quality so every Bot looks and performs like new.
• Record all changes and upgrades so Finance can understand asset value.
• Maintain service logs and system documentation.
• Respond to customer issues with a calm, solutions-oriented approach.
• Answer support calls and troubleshoot Bot issues for national and international customers, including hardware, software, and app-related problems.
• Provide proactive support, including on-site visits for key customers and off-season outreach.
• Take ownership of Bot problem-solving, paying attention to both major issues and small details.
• Develop customer maintenance programs that encourage seasonal servicing through our shop.
• Deliver a high-quality service experience that reinforces the value of our Bots.
• Monitor service demand and advise the Director of Operations when labor needs should scale up or down.
• Delegate tasks effectively to seasonal production team members.
• Refine service processes to improve efficiency over time.
