Physical Therapist Clinical Director – Los Alamos, NMFull-Time | $86,000–$123,000 Annually, Based on ExperienceOutpatient Orthopedics | Leadership Across Two ClinicsSchedule:Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours per week.Flexible scheduling within clinic hours of 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.Potential for 10-hour workdays, depending on the agreed schedule.No weekends.Position Overview:We're seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to serve as Clinical Director for our outpatient orthopedic clinics in Los Alamos and Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position combines direct patient care with clinical leadership across both locations. You'll help guide a supportive team while maintaining a patient-care model built around one-on-one, 45-minute appointments with no overlapping or double-booked visits. The role offers an opportunity to stay involved in clinical practice while supporting team development, consistent care standards, and clinic operations. At full staffing, you'll oversee up to four staff Physical Therapists across the two locations.Patient Care & Clinical Environment:Nearly all orthopedic caseload.One-on-one, 45-minute patient visits.No overlapping or double-booked appointments.Supportive clinic culture with robust mentorship opportunities.A combination of patient treatment and management responsibilities.Responsibilities:Provide evaluations and individualized treatment for patients with orthopedic conditions.Develop and adjust evidence-based plans of care.Oversee clinical services and support daily operations across both clinics.Guide, mentor, and support staff Physical Therapists.Promote consistent standards for patient care and clinical documentation.Collaborate with leadership and staff on scheduling, patient flow, and clinic needs.Monitor clinical performance and support improvements in care delivery.Maintain clear communication between the Los Alamos and Santa Fe teams.Minimum Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.Active New Mexico Physical Therapist license, or eligibility for licensure before starting.Three to five years of clinical experience preferred.Strong clinical reasoning and orthopedic treatment skills.Ability to balance direct patient care with leadership responsibilities.Strong communication, organization, and team-development skills.Ability to work across both clinic locations.This opportunity is best suited to an experienced Physical Therapist ready to take on clinical leadership responsibilities.Compensation & Benefits:Salary range of $86,000–$123,000 annually, depending on experience and scope of responsibilities.Productivity bonuses available, with the structure discussed during negotiations.Sign-on bonus open to negotiation.Relocation assistance open to negotiation.Group health insurance, including dental and vision.Paid time off.Retirement plan.Candidates relocating from out of state are welcome to apply.About the Area:Los Alamos and Santa Fe offer the opportunity to build a career in northern New Mexico while enjoying a setting outside a large metropolitan area.
