About the Position

OB/GYN Locum Tenens

• Specialty: OB/GYN – Hospital-based locum tenens coverage.
• Location: Arizona (AZ license required; candidates can be considered for licensure if coverage is 4+ months out).
• Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
• Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM.
• Coverage Dates: Jan 1–4, Feb 5–8, Apr 2–5, Jun 11–14, Jul 9–12, and Jul 30–Aug 2 (all 7:00 AM start/end times).
• Practice Setting: Hospital with 99 beds.
• Responsibilities: OB/GYN coverage, including providing coverage for the Nurse-Midwife as needed.
• Workload & EMR: 0–1 deliveries and 0–2 callbacks per shift on average; EMR is Cerner.
• Credentialing & Requirements: DEA required; estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days. No block scheduling available.
