Job Summary As a Mobile Automotive Technician at Instant Car Fix, you'll be at the forefront of our service delivery. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles at customers' preferred locations, providing top‑notch service with the latest tools and technology at your disposal. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and software Execute a wide range of repairs, from routine maintenance to complex system overhauls Conduct pre‑purchase inspections and provide detailed reports to potential buyers Offer expert advice on vehicle care and preventive maintenance Maintain meticulous service records and documentation Manage inventory in your mobile service vehicle Provide exceptional customer service, clearly explaining issues and solutions Adapt to new technologies and repair techniques as they emerge Qualifications and Skills High school diploma required; associate degree in automotive technology or related field preferred ASE certifications highly valued; Master Technician status a plus Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment and repair software Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions The Ideal Candidate Thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Demonstrates a passion for automotive technology and continuous learning Exhibits strong time management and organizational skills Shows initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision Possesses a customer‑first mindset and enjoys building relationships What We Offer Independent Contractor Opportunity: Enjoy the flexibility of a 1099 position, allowing you to manage your own schedule and work‑life balance.
