Engineering Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Engineering Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Burlington, MA. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay Range: $28 - 33/hr depending on experienceContract: 6 months temp to hire
100% onsite in Burlington, MA Job Description:
- Responsible to support several technical manufacturing processes in a small-scale fast-paced development production environment.
- Primary responsibilities will include analyzing and reporting production data, conducting technical experiments, troubleshooting process equipment, supporting process improvement activities, documenting process specifications and generating standard operating procedures.
- Partners closely with numerous internal business functions such as, Process Engineering, Beverage Product Development, Productivity and Continuous Improvement, Quality, and Technical Services Operations.
- Become proficient in technical processes and equipment, such as coffee roasting and grinding, as well as other innovative and exciting processes and quality and analytical measurement tools.
- Analyze multiple categories of production and quality data, using statistical data analysis for data-driven decision making.
- Develop reports and metrics that drive continuous process improvements and technology/innovation development.
- Provide hands-on technical troubleshooting support for processes and equipment within a small-scale manufacturing environment.
- Lead and/or support testing and experiments for product and process innovations.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Manufacturing or R&D experience is a plus
