LocationSalem, ORDepartmentEducation ServicesCompensation$60 - $65 per hour (USD)Experience1-3 years**Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Multiple Contract Position (2026–2027 School Year)****Location:** In‐person, Local District**Contract Length:** Full school year**Schedule:** On-site only; no virtual/SLPA hybrid models accepted**About the Opportunity**District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) contractor for the 2026–2027 school year to provide maternity leave coverage across multiple school sites. This role functions similarly to a roving SLP, supporting a diverse PK–8 student population with varying communication needs.**Caseload & Responsibilities*** Approximate caseload of 55 students, 0-3 year olds* Services include assessment, direct intervention, progress monitoring, IEP development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams* Work is fully in-person; may consider virtual service permitted via hybrid model**Candidate Requirements*** Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology* Valid state licensure and/or credential required for school-based practice* Experience with birth-3-year-old populations preferred* Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills* Ability to adapt to shifting caseloads and school sites**Why Join Us**This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys variety, flexibility, and meaningful work with a wide range of student needs.
