Description: This position involves working in the Labor and Delivery specialty. The nurse will provide care to patients during labor and delivery. Experience in labor patient ratios of 1:2 is required. Knowledge and familiarity with the Epic charting system are mandatory. The nurse will be responsible for administering medications and managing patient care. Essential skills include the ability to perform assessments and provide support for breastfeeding. The candidate should have experience with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. The role requires participation in patient education and discharge planning. Experience working with high-risk pregnancies is preferred. The nurse should be capable of triaging obstetrical patients.
