Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide critical care medicine coverage with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with night call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Coverage of 5 to 10 shifts per month required
• Average daily census of 13 to 18 patients
• APP support staff available in-house 24/7
• Perform common critical care procedures including airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion at a minimum
• Must hold active Tennessee license and active DEA registration or one that is easily transferable, as well as a CSR
• Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine

This facility is an intensive care center operating within a full-service medical campus, providing high-acuity critical care services to the surrounding community. The unit is equipped to manage complex, critically ill patients and supports a multidisciplinary care team approach. With around-the-clock APP support and access to a broad range of advanced procedures, the facility is well-resourced to deliver comprehensive critical care medicine.
