Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing excellent nutritional support. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and service of meals and snacks to residents
- Maintain accurate records of food intake, temperatures, and inventory
- Clean and sanitize dietary equipment and kitchen areas
- Assist with meal delivery and tray service
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals
- Ensure adherence to dietary restrictions and special needs
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
