Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing excellent nutritional support. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals and snacks to residents
• Maintain accurate records of food intake, temperatures, and inventory
• Clean and sanitize dietary equipment and kitchen areas
• Assist with meal delivery and tray service
• Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals
• Ensure adherence to dietary restrictions and special needs

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required
