Quality Control Associate Job Location: Woodland, California Job Type:Temp to Hire Pay Rate:$19-$20/hour Schedule: GRAVEYARD Monday - Friday; 7pm-7am(Three 12-hour shifts per week, scheduled monthly, with two days off between shifts) Description of Position:Do you have experience as an Extrusion Operator, Quality Control Associate, or Production Associate? Our client is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious professional to support daily production operations. This role involves producing, processing, inspecting, and packaging finished products while maintaining quality standards and following established operating procedures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working around industrial machinery, paying close attention to product quality, maintaining accurate production records, and keeping the work area clean and organized. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work and takes pride in producing quality products safely and efficiently. Job Responsibilities:Operate extrusion-related production equipment and other machinery used to process, weigh, package, and store finished products.Monitor finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and production specifications.Package and process finished products according to company procedures and production requirements.Maintain accurate production and quality control records for each production run.Move finished products from the production area to designated staging, storage, warehouse, or other department locations.Weigh and process substandard products generated during production runs according to established procedures.Assist with training other operators on the proper operation of production, packaging, weighing, and material-handling equipment.Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production guidelines.Attend required training sessions, including operational and safety training, and complete forklift inspections and other assigned requirements. Experience Required:Previous quality control experience in a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.Ability to inspect products and identify quality issues or products that do not meet specifications.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety requirements.Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively and perform job duties safely.Willingness to wear and maintain required PPE.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.Dependability, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.Willingness to participate in required training and complete assigned safety inspections.
