Forklift Material Handler

Oakland , New Jersey Contract to Hire Sep 24, 2026 Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a maufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for pulling materials for production, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and transacted throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities: Pull and deliver materials to support production schedules Operate forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies promptly Return excess materials to proper bin locations Support inventory transactions and work order processing Maintain organized, safe, and efficient warehouse operations Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and other teams Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience Experience using RF scanners and material handling equipment Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the shift Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a maufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
