Work Environment\nThis role provides the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our therapists the capability to work from home while still closely connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the schedule is mainly standard hours, some flexibility may be needed to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments through structured interviews and standardized tools, ensuring that client needs are accurately identified and addressed. \n
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy. \n
- Facilitate educational workshops and support groups, providing a nurturing environment where clients can share experiences and build community. \n
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers in multidisciplinary care teams to achieve comprehensive patient care. \n
- Respond effectively to mental health crises by offering immediate support and intervention strategies as needed, playing a critical role in client stability and safety. \n
- Educate clients and families about various mental health disorders, treatment pathways, and available resources within the community. \n
- Maintain confidential records and treatment documentation in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including case consultations and team meetings, to stay current with best practices and emerging therapeutic modalities. \n
Our clinic serves a diverse clientele encompassing various demographics and backgrounds, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required. Preferred candidates will hold a Master’s degree or doctorate in a relevant discipline. \n
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is essential. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiency in various therapeutic methodologies. \n
- Ability to perform thorough mental health assessments and develop effective treatment strategies based on clinical evidence. \n
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven track record of building rapport with clients. \n
- High ethical standards, professionalism, and the ability to maintain boundaries in a therapeutic setting. \n
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred. \n

- At least two years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups, particularly in an outpatient or community health setting. \n
- Experience facilitating group therapy sessions and leading psychoeducational programs. \n
- Background in crisis intervention and management within mental health services. \n
