ResponsibilitiesThe Transaction Banking Delivery team is a group of Project Managers and Roadmap Portfolio Managers who are responsible for planning and execution of cross-functional products and features build, drive impact assessment, track detailed project plans and commitments, manage risks and dependencies, and partner with product, engineering, risk, operations, sales and core functions.Lead complex and strategic cross divisional initiatives in partnership with front to back business teams including product, design, engineering and operations teamsUnderstand and articulate how projects and benefits fit into both the program and broader firm strategy with the ability to influence and shape thisRecognize, report, and escalate project risks to senior partners; oversee remediation of risks raisedProvide transparency and progress of projects, issues, timelines, and budgets through application of the TxB delivery operating modelIdentify and remove impediments at program level, leveraging stakeholders, sponsorship, and other relationships to do soWork with product owners to build the strategic vision and forward-looking roadmap and refine the backlog of demand, while balancing competing prioritiesManage go-to-market planning including operational readiness, trainings, communications, committee approvals across multiple stakeholder groups Work closely with senior members of the TxB leadership team to develop materials for firmwide committeesHold varied responsibilities spanning across project management, business analysis, senior stakeholder communications Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 10+ years of industry experience in the commercial banking domainStrong analytical and problem solving aptitude Strong project management skills with the ability to manage various efforts across multiple internal and external partners concurrently Strong technical proficiency - Although coding ability is not required, it is imperative to be able to drive functional flows and architecture, clearly understanding and managing dependencies across different system components and teams Agile certified a strong plus; experience working within scrum teams and leading Agile ceremonies is criticalEfficiency, organization skills and deep attention to detail are imperativeSuperior communicator with professional presentation skills Strong team player with an ability to work independently in a collaborative and fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated individual seeking a fast-paced and rapidly evolving organization Fast learner, ability to navigate the organization and get up to speed quickly on key topicsAbility to connect the dots across projects and budget activitiesAbility to forge trusted partnerships with executive level stakeholdersExperience in the financial services industry is strongly preferredABOUT GOLDMAN SACHSAt Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
