Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state
• Previous experience in school settings highly valued
• Comfortable working with K-12 students and managing varied developmental and physical needs
• Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Adaptable to working at multiple school sites within the week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services, both direct and consultative, to a diverse group of students
• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP/504 requirements
• Document assessments, progress, and therapy outcomes in an accurate and timely manner
• Work closely with educators and other school professionals to facilitate student participation in school routines and activities
• Communicate regularly with parents and staff to share progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Participate in site meetings, IEP conferences, and team collaborations as required
• Travel between multiple campuses as part of regular duties
• Offer support and guidance to staff regarding safe practices and appropriate adaptations for students
