About Your Role
- Conduct thorough evaluations in either inpatient or outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
- Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitative professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge strategies, and home exercise regimens
- Document assessments, treatments, and progress while upholding facility standards and compliance regulations
- Participate actively in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution
Licenses and Certifications
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification is preferred
- Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurological rehab) may be beneficial but are not essential
