Responsibilities Provide friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and hospitable service of food and beverage in accordance with established quality and time standards, while maintaining cleanliness. Interact with guests and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner. Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work, in proper uniform. Accurately ring in all food and beverage orders in the computer. Stock and replenish stations as needed, including polished silverware and glassware. Assist guests with questions about the menu, continually studying the menu, including liquor, beer, and wine. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently per company standards. Deliver, place, and remove food at tables; pre-bus and manicure tables throughout the restaurant. Communicate questions or issues to management in a timely manner; collaborate with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. Perform opening and closing duties, including disassembling, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations after each shift. Set up the next shift for success and practice proper sanitation procedures; follow regulations regarding alcohol sale and service. Participate in continuing education courses available to you; maintain knowledge of food and bar menus and host procedures. Maintain tables and assist guests throughout their visit to ensure a high-quality dining experience. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent; must be able to read, write, and speak English. Stand for long periods and be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Properly utilize a tray to deliver food and drink items to guests. Obtain and update any required certifications.
