Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in San Juan, PR within the real estate and property management industry. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional with 1 to 2 years of experience who is ready to strengthen hands-on accounting skills in transaction processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and daily accounting support.

Key Responsibilities

- Process incoming and outgoing accounting transactions by verifying, sorting, calculating, posting, and recording financial data accurately.
- Prepare invoices, bank deposits, account documentation, and related accounting records with attention to accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with reconciliation of general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering, balancing, and reviewing financial information.
- Generate financial reports and provide account and ledger status updates for management review.
- Follow internal accounting policies and procedures to support compliance with federal, state, and local financial requirements.
- Protect confidential financial information through organized recordkeeping, proper file retention, classification, and database backup support.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $14.50 to $15.00 per hour.
- Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
