Manufacturing Engineer

Support manufacturing of fiber glass pipe.Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, or automation.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production methods.Analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, reduced waste, and improved quality.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing documentation.Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and production readiness.Design or specify tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment to improve productivity and repeatability.Perform root cause analysis on production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Collaborate with Quality Engineering to resolve nonconformances and improve process capability.Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and recommend improvements.Support capital equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and validation.Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical support and training to production personnel.Participate in cost reduction initiatives through process optimization, material savings, and cycle time improvements.Full timePosting Date: 2026-09-21
