Quality Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• In charge of the Quality of one or several sectors.
• Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).
• Challenge supervisors to identify and manage risks in a preventive mode.
• Be the local expert of the traceability system for the manufacturing floor.
• Lead Process Audits and Process FMEAs Create and maintain quality control documentation, insure related training and application in the sector.
• Lead continuous improvement on its perimeter.
• Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issue and problem solving on his sector.
• Be a member of the Short Interval Management (of the production lines).
• Provide solutions to increase Customer Satisfaction.
• Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new evolution, contribute to process/control capability implementation.
• Be the local expert of the assembled products in his sector.

Skills:

• Looking for a Junior to Mid-Level QA engineer, someone who is a "doer".
• Someone who is on the line and in the weeds.
• Someone who is open to training and growth.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum previous experience, in the functions described, of three years or less Mandatory good level of English.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic).
• 3 + years of experience with manufacturing quality, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (i.e. 5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc.).
• Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desired.
• Experience on ESD desired. 
• The Quality Excellence of the Offers delivered to the customers.
• The Quality Excellence of Supply Chain (from Supplier to Customers).
• The timely and effectively management of customer containment actions (Business Risk Escalation, Offer Safety Alerts…).
