This is a high-volume, fast-moving role, we need someone who hits the ground running and brings a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat.What You'll DoInput and manage data for Quality Assurance and maintain accurate electronic and manual filing systemsRegister code vessels with The National Board through our AIW/3rd party inspection companyFormat and track Microsoft Word and Excel documents in accordance with company policyLearn and navigate internal software systemsSupport supervisors and managers in meeting deadlines with accuracy and timelinessMaintain consistent communication with leadership, proactively reporting issues or changesApply basic knowledge of ASME and API codes in day-to-day responsibilitiesProvide backup support for customer service and receptionist functions as neededFollow all safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements, incident reporting, and stop-work authority when safety protocols cannot be metWhat We're Looking ForPrior experience in a Quality Assurance, administrative, or compliance roleProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is requiredStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlinesHighly organized with strong time management skills and a professional attitudeBasic knowledge of ASME and API codes is a plusWillingness to work a flexible scheduleA true team player with a high level of dedication, reliability, and honestyGED or High School diploma preferred, or equivalent experience Smith Industries
