Magnolia Gardens Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Cook to join our team in Thomasville, NC!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for residents, keeping in mind dietary needs and special diets
- Strong working knowledge on proper food storage and preparation
- Knowledge of safety and sanitary requirements
- Knowledge of state Dietary regulations
- Pleasant, friendly and helpful at all times ensuring proper and timely service
- Ensure work environment and stations are clean and sanitized
Qualifications:
- Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or GED accepted
- Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
- Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
