As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, monitoring access activity, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and control access to restricted areas within a food and beverage production location. Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and receiving areas to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns. Document daily activities, access exceptions, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
