Quality Lab Technician

The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for chemical, physical and/or microbiological analysis of beverage components and blends. Duties include preparing documentation and performing testing and analysis of samples to ensure quality and food safety standards are met. Your Responsibilities Verify that lab equipment is functioning properly by performing and documenting calibrations on a daily or weekly basis depending on equipment Conduct physical and chemical analysis such as brix, moisture, acidity, pH, etc of beverages, syrups, flavors and raw materials throughout the entire production process Perform sensory analysis on all bulks and finished product throughout the shift Conduct filling line quality inspections on the production floor which includes temperature checks, torques, weights and packaging checks Verify effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation procedures by performing pre and post-operational inspections of production equipment as well as perform ATP swabbing Ability to confidently make batch adjustments when a product is out of specification such as adding acid or base to a sample Responsible for placing product on hold when it does not meet quality and/or food safety specifications and communicating to appropriate parties Upkeep of laboratory to include daily cleaning of benchtops and equipment and restocking of supplies Support investigations of customer complaint issues as needed Collecting and sending customers production samples per their requests Collecting and sending samples required for third party testing Responsible to adhere to as well as implement and enforce internal standards concerning hygiene, HACCP, food/quality and job safety Work and communicate closely with production personnel Maintain an organized, clean, safe & health-conscious work environment Ability to enter and maintain information in ERP (SAP) system Maintain and complete batch records for all products Maintaining upkeep and organization of retain area Your Profile Associates degree in science-related field 2+ years’ experience in laboratory environment SAP knowledge We Offer Comprehensive Health Coverage – Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans to support you and your family Paid Parental Leave –Maternity and Paternity Leave so you can focus on what matters most 401(k) Retirement Plan – Plan for your future with company-supported retirement savings Paid Time Off – Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with PTO and 11 Paid Holidays Employee Engagement – Join our Engagement Team for fun events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to connect with colleagues across the company Döhler Academy: You have the opportunity to continuously develop your education further through internal and external training programs Supportive Culture – Friendly and informal atmosphere, family-owned private company, flat hierarchies, open communication, and helpful colleagues Meaningful Impact – Be an integral part of our business success and help shape the future of nutrition Empowerment – Unleash your full potential with opportunities to grow, lead, and make a real difference #J-18808-Ljbffr TT Exchange Rates
